Micro-Cap Solutions provides executive search, outsourced corporate services, and HR consulting to high-growth, high-demand businesses.

Our roots trace back to Ninth Street Capital Partners (NSCP), a lower middle-market investment firm with a strong track record of scaling businesses. A key driver of NSCP’s success has been strategic talent acquisition, organizational design, and HR expertise—critical elements for growth-stage companies.

Founded by Matt Swatek, Micro-Cap Solutions is backed by NSCP’s Managing Partners, who share a vision for building a best-in-class HR and back-office consulting firm. We specialize in supporting lower middle-market private equity firms, search funds, and growth equity investors as they scale operations and professionalize in the face of “must-deliver” situations.

In 2024, we launched a pilot program extending our services beyond NSCP’s portfolio. Over the past year, we have completed double digit executive searches, multiple software and systems implementations, and established an overseas staffing operation in Latin American through an exclusive partnership.

CEO & Founder

Matt Swatek is the CEO & Founder of Micro-Cap Solutions, an executive search and HR consulting firm specializing in supporting high-growth companies and lower middle-market private equity-backed businesses. A seasoned HR executive, Matt has a proven track record in leadership recruitment, talent strategy, and building scalable HR infrastructure for dynamic organizations.

Before launching Micro-Cap Solutions, Matt served as Vice President of Human Capital at Ninth Street Capital Partners (NSCP), where he led HR strategy and executive search across the firm’s portfolio companies. His expertise in talent acquisition and organizational development played a key role in NSCP’s ability to provide hands-on strategic and operational support. In 2024, Matt spearheaded a pilot program extending NSCP’s executive search and HR services to other private equity firms, proving market demand and laying the foundation for Micro-Cap Solutions.

Prior to NSCP, Matt advanced from Recruiting Manager to Chief Human Resources Officer at USA Millwork, a multi-state, $200M, 750-employee roll-up in the manufacturing and construction space. There, he implemented a comprehensive recruitment strategy, hiring over 125 employees in his first year and leading all C-level and leadership hires while shaping the company’s organizational structure. Earlier in his career, Matt honed his expertise in talent acquisition through roles at ISEC and Dish Network.

When he’s not working, Matt is most likely enjoying the outdoors. A passionate fly fisher, he spends as much time as possible on the river in his drift boat. He also enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
